I made this for my friend Tom, because he said that there wasn't any good music that he could find. So I took some of the easily accesible mp3s that I like, threw them onto a cd, and made him listen to it.

Yes, Tom is wrong. Personally, as for B&S, I prefer other stuff besides "spaceboy dream" like, well anything else! but I respect your opinion. Great Dirty Three pick.
The one Belle & Sebastian song on there, and it's everyone's least favorite.
it's not my *least* favourite...that's probably of no reassurance, however. in any case, anyone on this site could tell this tom character a thing or two about new music, but i'm glad it was you, 'cause the selection rocks, from iggy to the stripes to the prom to bikini kill. if he doesn't change his opinion, i'll beat his ass.
It's not my least favorite either - that would probably go to "a century of elvis" - I guess I just don't really like the spoken word ones...
"a century of fakers" on the other hand, is brilliant. and at least belle and sebastian showed up on this tape--it's just that lots of belle and sebastian fans hate spaceboy dream (especially since stu d. is no longer in the band...)
