my planned worked! yesterday i practiced my first random act of mixtape kindness. i gave a mixtape to this pre-teen skater kid i saw at the park. i thought it was so adorable to see a kid skating in a neighborhood where kids just DO NOT skateboard. i asked him what kind of music he listened to and he said alternative. it was so cute. my tape was originally meant for a girl but hopefully he'll grow into it. i hope i run into him again so i can give him this tape too.Feedback:

Well done, more of this. As mixtapers (forgive me), perhaps it is our duty to every now and then hook up the unlikely person with sumpin special. Inspired.
my sister and I want to make a whole bunch of colorful mix tapes to hand out to random people...good job on the mix :o)
I saw Shonen Knife once in NYC. They opened for the Jello Biafra Sideshow. They were booed off the stage.
That would've been because Shonen Knife are actually good. This tape is nice but the idea is even better. I don't trust anyone in my city to listen to a tape I'd make though...

Very good idea and a nice mix
that idea rocks, i have been toying with the thought of doing a mixtape zine almost. every few months, make a mixtape and dispense it to random people.
also, superdrag rules. there should be more of their stuff on mixtapes everywhere.
