this was the mix i made for spoon for the pitchfork mixtape trade #3, since i never did make her the 4-disc megamix i promised her half a year ago during pfmmtt#1. when i asked her for a notion by which to narrow the mix, she said "try something moody and gloomy" or something to that effect. so i made a moody, spooky mix. and insofar as that's what i set out to do, it feels like i succeeded. but it's not an everyday mix, by any means. the highlight imo is the nirvana track, a bizarre remix i did because the original just wasn't quite working. overall, i'd give it about a 7.5/10. now on to lenny & carl's mix. . .
