Comment:
Ok....so I wound up making a second disc for the Dream 'Til You Pop comp...and refrained from including anything too ethereal. Couldn't help but throw a few synth tunes in the mix though. Goodbye Horses is rather ubiquitous when taking all my comps into account. Some Trivia:
The Breaking Hands was produced by Robin Guthrie of the Cocteau Twins...as was Primitive Painters(which features Liz Fraser of said band on back-up vocals).
Goodbye Mr. Mackenzie was the band Shirley Manson(of Garbage)played keyboards for in the 80's...and occasionally sang front and back-up.
Some news:
Concrete Blonde are back together, have a new album coming out in a matter of a few weeks and are currently touring.
Feedback:
Good stuff. And thanx for the history lesson too!
Sorry I missed this one when you posted it. I love that Breaking Hands song, which I haven't heard in ages. Now we now how the Cocteau Twins would sound if Liz Frasier had a gruffy voice. Primitive Painters is one of my top ten songs longer than five minutes.
