working title: "bottle up & corn!" I've seen at least three other mixes solely of Mr. Smith (Rob Conroy's pushes the "solely", but what the heck), and I wanted to contribute mine. However, one difference: I suck. I have two discs here, not one, because the music of Elliott Smith strikes me as so beautiful, dark, stirring, angry, sentimental, knowing, bitter, mournful, lovesick, et cetera, that one disc could not do justice for me. Each of these songs holds great personal meaning, but I guess as music fans, you all know what I'm writing about, if not specifically for Mr. Smith, then for someone else. I tell you, AOTM is a beautiful thing. You all are wonderful. P.S.: No mp3s here (most of mine are AWOL anyway), so no "Miss Misery", "Because" or "Figure 8", to name a few.
