Comment:
The better half's bi-annual audio treat to keep her happy while driving if NPR's "All Things Considered" or "Morning Edition" are not on. The challenge?? Well, you got to love her but my wife is most definitely a musical mortal. Meaning... Keep it interesting but not TOO interesting. She loves the more popular tunes of the moment and the ones in TV shows and commercials. I filter out the bad ones, add some other fringe (for her) stuff that is accessable and PRESTO!! You have her tape!! I was happy with the turn out but will have to make her another one in late spring. ?QUESTION? Guess what song I included because it was the only one I could even stomach on that crappy CD and will be selling it ASAP. Hint: It rhymes with FOLDY LEECHES. I haven't been that disappointed since buying a live Pigface album back in '92!! ouch. ;)Feedback:
Very sweet. Great House of Love pick.
this is an awesome mix! you did a great job making it for someone who likes accessible stuff, but without filling it with boring over-heard stuff. nice.
Hey now, be gentle on the Moldy Peaches...you have to see them live!
Dude, I'm so with you on the Moldy Peaches... and seeing them live was infinitely *more* horrible than listening to that album...
Wow. Thank you for commenting on the Brooklyn cowboy mix. I've been trying to remember who did the song that's been in my head all day and it was the Judybats, so it was a fortuitous event. Cheers!
Awesome mix, I would really enjoy this one. Have you heard Morisson's Sweet Thing. aah- I luv that song!
