Comment:

I have no idea why I decided to put this mix together, but here it is, an attempt to paint a multi-faceted picture of life in Soviet Russia. This has been modified a bit from the original version that I posted, and I think for the better. Props to Mo Twang for recommending the Bragg Internationale. Approximately 67 minutes.

Maybe Billy Bragg's version of the Internationale?

Well executed! How about "Mother Russia" by Renaissance or "Russians" by Sting. Then there's The Scorpions' "Winds Of Change," if you don't mind a little spandex in your mix!

you really want some comments for an end? it is nice enough as it is but try working with John Barry's instrumental for "From Russian With Love" as a reprise or the Clash's "Death Is A Star"

The Intro track to The Jackal film would be a perfect ending to the mix since it has audio clips in it about the fall of the Soviet Union. Cheers.
