argh. that was a grueling process. i had to distill the soundtrack to the last three years of my life down to 90 minutes of music. see, i'm compiling a book of all the old issues of my zine that i no longer make copies of, and it had to have a soundtrack to go with it. there were so many bands that should have been on it, but didn't quite make the cut. and this is the final result - i guess each year gets about a half hour to say its piece, eh?

my god, is this an excellent mix! all great bands and nicely gender-bablaced. that sleater-kinney song is one of my all-time favourites. and braid, x-ray spex, tom waits, le tigre...wow. just wow.
