songs from my life, aged 12 to 16. my favorite everclear song, which is the one nobody remembers. nada surf and the toadies, who i hated at the time but went mad for a few years later. the cranberries, my first true love (post-ace of base). these should all fall between '93 and '97, i think, although the meat puppets might have been earlier and the grant lee buffalo might be later. i remember 'backwater' being on american top 40 when my parents would drive to the beach, and 'truly truly' being on when my friend's crazy ex-boyfriend used to drive us around because he was the only one with a car.
