Comment:
There is a book by Stephen Chobsky called "The Perks of Being a Wallflower." At one point the main character makes a tape for his friend called "One Winter." The first side of this tape is an exact copy of that tape. I liked the feeling it has, so I sort of continued it with my own songs on the second side. I gave my sister the book for christmas, this made a nice companion.Feedback:
awesome... that's one of my favorite books. great choices for the second side
no offense to that character, but your side is a lot more interesting and better ;)
nights in white satin - its corny, but i always seem to get all teary when that song comes on. it wrenches my heart out. the moodies never quite reached that kind of emotional peak again :)
i also made a version of charlie's tape after reading "perks". great book...great mix.
Believe it or not, Chobsky was a good highschool buddy to my wife's brother when she lived up north. Something of a legend with the family because he was always making little movies. Seems like an interesting guy, but I haven't read the book yet. His side looks very nice, but really side-B looks just as good...
choke. elliott smith, morrissey, belle and sebastian. those specific songs. choke. fantastic. xox.
