Comment:

i made this mix in early 94. it was the peak of a cleveland station called THE END which was around from 1992 until 1997 or 1998. it was the only station that played modern rock in this town, and now all we have left are college stations, and something called extreme radio, which doesn't quite match up to THE END. don't mind me, i'm just longing for a time when you could actually enjoy listening to the radio . . . .

the end made high school a little more bearable, but remembering what i listened to back then i've come to two conclusions--1.)my good memories of the END are largely nostalgic and 2.) it's probably better that they went away. and extremem radio SUCKS. long live WRUW, WJCU and WOBC (for the far west siders...) thanks for the memories.

I miss THE END so much. Extreme? Eh, it's all right, but if given the choice, I'd replace it with THE END. I have a bevy of mixes culled from that station that get massive rotation in my room. Good work!

as a clevelander myself, i find this mix extremely satisfying. oh, the soul asylum... hehe.
