Comment:
a second mix for brandt fundak. another in my series of taking "mixed genre" to it's logical extremes.Feedback:
also contains various short excerpts from "numbers stations" scattered throughout.
woah. this looks like a mindfuck. nice!
Looks like another stunner Brian. That Nina Simone song's a spine tingler. Might be splitting hairs, but I think 'No Agreement' is actually from Africa '70 drummer Tony Allens solo LP. Where did you find the Pip Proud track? I wanted something for my damaged folk guitar mix, but turned up nothing.
man, that's just plain eerie. i downloaded "needle to the groove" a few nights ago for an upcoming trade. woah. i really really like that this mix makes some ballsy stylistic change-ups. you're frickin' fearless! nice job.
yeah. i wouldn't know 100% about no agreement, since it's from mp3. the pip proud track is from a comp. called "waiting to exhale" which is a trance syndicate/emperor jones split comp. that i got for free at a pawn shop.
Very cool. Like the Fela pick.
according to all music guide, no agreement is not just a fela kuti song, but the title track of a 1977 fela kuti album.
Thanks Bryan. I've since researched that one also with the same result. I was confused by Tony Allen's LP 'No Discrimination'.
