Comment:

Made while working at my second job and having a complete disregard for authority.I always play my own music while working and this way i can play an hour each side and not have to worry about changing discs.

ahhhaa .. i used to like switchblade symphony very much, after hearing them on the diseas of lady madeline compilation ("ride"). and then i got serpentine gallery, and was very happy. and then i got bread and jam for frances, and i thought... ehhhh .. after the drool/clown singles (which i managed to lob off on eBay for exorbitant amounts of $$$) and whatever that third album was, i decided it was time to admit that the goth goils could only do so much. BUT. seeing this mix is a very interesting glimpse down memory lane. do they have a remix album now? i'd be interested in hearing the "dissolve" remix sometime...

Understood. Their first album got an ace rating from my late-teen industio-gothic music sensibilities (may they rest in peace). Any way, Serpentine Gallery still gets my respect and it pleases me that these gothy gals get yours, Shane. This is probably a band that will receive more interest in about 10 to 15 years from now than they did when they were actually together. Choice...

I am glad to see others sending praise of the band , I truly love thier 3rd release The three calamities though it is often overlooked in the catalogue. Tina also has a new band - www.trelux.com :)

I think I'm the only one who likes the second album the best. The first one seemed a bit cold to me.

im guessing a yes , I just started to really listen to the second one over the past few months and even now a few songs just get on my nerves to the point of not listening to them. Ther sontgs i do like though are in fact listed on this mix. The first one is by far my favorite followed by the 3 calamities.
