We all have guilty pleasures--you know, those things we know are bad for us, but we do them anyway. This CD is all about guilty pleasures. It represents songs that have inspired shocked cries of, "I can't believe you bought that!" from friends and family; songs that the artists themselves won't even perform anymore; pop songs of the sort that inspire oaths to avoid commercial radio forever and ever, amen; songs that are the harbingers of the bandwagon of the week; songs featured on albums whose covers were designed by Pen and Pixel; songs you know suck, suck, suck, but you like them anyway; cheesy remixes of tv themes (I collect X-Files remixes--if you have any, email me); songs that my younger brother (who is infinately cooler than I will ever be) would have no problem teasing me about liking; songs with stupid skits at the beginning...well this could go on forever, but I'm sure you get the point. BTW, Sifl & Olly aren't a guilty pleasure. I love that show. I just wanted to start a mix off with Chester's Theme. Ciao.
