Comment:

a trade for Rob. with nothing to go on, i decided to use my personal impression of my 4 or 5 visits to pittsburgh as a guiding beacon: a cold, bleak rusting steel town in western PA that likes its rock of the hard midwest variety. no offense intended [from this philadelphia area native] - just havin' a little fun at the lesser half of the state's expense! :-) as usual, nothing here is included to be kitschy...ie, the t.rex into van halen transition is one of my favorites.

Hey man, this looks cool. :-) lol I haven't heard that Van Halen track for years and that Motorhead tune is a perennial fave of mine (I love Superchunk's cover, as well). And as for the "lesser half" statement, suffice it to say I disagree with you in a *huge* way. lol

we have a joke here in cleveland: Q:"what's the best thing about Pittsburgh?" A:"The sign that says Cleveland 100 miles" all kidding aside though, it's a great city...especially since Rob finds himself wasting a good portion of his time in my fair to mediocre city...

This is some serious rock 'n' roll!! Very, very, very nice. Cleveland, Pittsburgh... we just lump it all together as that cold stuff north of here in Atlanta. You are in the same catagory as Toronto, Portland, Minneapolis, ect. ...

interesting mix. i am a pittsburgh native who still lives here. you nailed the steel town part of your description.sometimes it can be cold and bleak, it all depends really. working man themes etc would go great in a pittsburgh mix. we have the steelers. what does cleveland have?
