1 of 3 cd set for my dad's birthday. loosely themed around the feeling the color blue gives me. dad's tastes run a little more classic and a little more pop than mine -- so i try to stay away from my more morose or "weird" loves. on this one and "red" there are like 3 songs from the royal tenenbaums soundtrack -- i normally wouldn't do that but my dad and i saw the movie together and have talked a lot about the music being great, and he doesn't own the album. so there's that.Feedback:

"Blue" by smashing pumpkins would've been a good choice as would of "opium" by Marcy Playground. (cuz of the lyrics). nice mix though.
May I ask where you found your dad? diggable planets, the pixies?? My dad listens to gordon lightfoot for gods sake!!
So I started looking through your archive...having been lured by seeing Okkervil River on a few mixes. It seems that one of these three discs would've been perfect for one of their songs, but especially this one, although maybe you considered them to be too WEIRD! Nice mix.
