Comment:
When we go deep, we go deep — back to the earliest days of Bob Marley's musical life, with the fresh-faced, ska-soaked beats of the early Wailers cuts "I Am Going Home," "Do You Remember," and "It Hurts to Be Alone." Fast-forward to the righteous lyrics and time-bending rhythms of "Babylon System," and on to the bittersweet reggae flavors of "Trench Town" and "Stiff Necked Fools," released after Marley's death in '81, and it's easy to discover how legends are made.
