Originally that twinkle in my eye was a young and agile Anglophile pop mix, but I couldn't resist sticking masterpieces like "Tracks Of My Tears" and the Dennis Wilson song in there for the sheer dewy-eyed thrill of it all...Feedback:

Really great mix. I've heard a lot of good stuff about Louis Philippe and the Montgolfier Brothers - (from Clientele fans) so I must find myself some of their music.
Yeah, Louis Philippe has been amazing for years and will no doubt continue to be so - he recently recorded an album with the Prague Philharmonic which I've been attempting to track down. The Montgolfier Brothers are really nice too, as are Gnac (basically Montgolfier John Barry-esque stuff, but without the vocals). And I'd love to hear The Clientele - from what I've heard, they'd have fitted onto this mix rather well.
