Supertramp was formed when a Dutch millionaire decided he would bankroll any group led by musician Rick Davis. Two flopped progressive rock albums later and all the money had been spent, so Davis and his co-singer/songwriter Roger Hodgson re-routed towards pop with [i]Crime of the Century[/i]. Supertramp had arrived.
