Comment:
I made this a few weeks ago for a couple of friends...songs tend towards danceable bummer rock. It's nice, I think, although there are two spots where my ear always catches. I tried putting "Back and Forth" in the middle of the mix on purpose- it's the final song on The Plan's "Emergency and I" and it is the ultimate in end-of-album technology. The groove and the fadeout are so damned lovely...and I'm not sure if it really can work in the middle. I did try, though. Another sticking point: "Hello My Treacherous Friends" ends on an abrupt speaking line, "California" begins the same way. Without a breath in between, it makes the transition a little too short. Other than that, though, I am extremely pleased with this one.Feedback:
Danceable bummer rock is good.
