here is my attempt to make a more cohesive mix. ok? no? ah got a lot of track ideas from y'alls mixes. all but the Gomez and Flaming Lips are mp3s. lessee... go to http://www2.nlc-bnc.ca/gramophone/src/titlea-e.htm . Canadian popular music mp3s from the '00s to '20s, absolutely wonderful if you like that sort of thing. summer goal: buy a record player, with 78 rpm capability.

okkervil river!! so good! um, the rest of this is really good too, but i'm so happy to see them on a mix. phantom planet and nico and nick drake too. hearts to all of that and more... and an excellent cover as well!

Wow, Brad, you're getting much better at this! And yes, go and buy a record player - I recently got one (since my old one we got rid of when moving to Aus) and have been buying 7" singles left and right.

by all means, buy the record player. i commandeered by parents' and it's wonderful. excellent mix. a few i'm unfamiliar with, but the velvet underground, strokes, red house painters tracks are all lovely.
