this is a tape of B&S that i made for my mom, since i figured she would like them. she seemed to enjoy the tape.Feedback:
Cool. I've actually turned my mom onto a few B&S songs. She's always been a big Cat Stevens/Bob Dylan fan, so I figure she'd like some of their stuff. I think you've included all the ones she liked. Now if I could only get her to start liking Le Tigre.
me and my mom took a long road trip and everytime "the boy with the arab strap" came on she would start getting a "lil crazy"
this tape looks super sweet--i love belle & sebastian and sometimes i get into my "b&s" mode, where they're all i listen to/ but one thing i've noticed about other fans is the lack of respect for "fold your hands..." no love even for the model?
the model gets much love (take a look at my belle and sebastian single artist mix) but compared with the last two EPs, fold your hands... isn't that strong...
i did this mix before i had the "llp" box set, so now there'd be a few songs from that & perhaps one track from the "jonathan david" single. but i really don't like "fold yr hands" much.
Great mix. I love B&S, even "fold your hands..." but I could never get my mom to listen to them, ever.
