Comment:

A labor of musical love produced exclusively for a trade with the mighty, mighty Brandt Fundak. Can you dig it?? Nothing overly unusual here. The Clash tune was inspired by the gobs of commercial patriotism proudly displayed at the Super Bowl. Yes my friends, it is possible to be upset about Sept. 11th without making a commercial to show how much you care (or how much you want to be my financial planner). The Beastie track is a b-side from the Check Your Head era. Many may recognize the Lou Rawls as the sample source for De La Soul's "I Am I Be". Lastly, the title is in reference to what I was reading while making this mix: The X-Men and Harper's Magazine.
