Comment:
just a sad and bitter mix for valentine's day. grrr. i'll sit in my room, wearing black(if i bother to change out of my pyjamas), listening to sad bastard music.
Feedback:
oh, and i will be making no copies of this, as it is my trademark sad bastard mix. sorry.
you deserve far better
That's a great sad bastard mix. It almost makes me wish that I'll be single on V-Day this year...(almost)
Lovely mix, Pam, despite the bitterness and anger. :-) I'll drop you a line soon--thanks for the note.
no copies? oh well...[sigh]
Cheer up! Eat noodles! Drink hot chocolate!
silly humans. i will be a robot. valentron. perhaps i'll add future bible heroes' "good thing i don't have any feelings" to the mix. i'll be the tin man. if i only had a heart.
Sigh... Another lovely lonely mix. And where oh where did you get that Bjork and PJ Harvey duet?
that's some good "pam-art" dahling. sad, but yes, good. and know that i will always be your valentine 'cause i love you forever.
that is a fantastic eels song and my fave liz phair song! i'm working on a trademark sad bastard mix myself. this just inspires me more :)
valentine's day is outlawed in my household. great mix.
screw valentines day...and reap the benifits of discounted chocolate a week later :). great mix.
By the way, I know you're not sending out copies of the mix, but will you send me a print of the cover, Ms. Steele? :-) That's absolutely fantastic.
thanks, kate. i got your letter! you just had to send it early to torture me, didn't you? eh. and rob, i'd be happy to send it to you. although, if you're lucky, i'll send you a hand-drawn one. it's part of a series. then when i'm famous, you can say you have a steele original. nifty, eh?and everyone is welcome to help start a grassroots campaign for valentron's day. a celebration of those who would rather have heartless robots than crappy hallmark cards. indeed.
Yeah, I agree about Valentine's day - it was just invented by Hallmark to make money. Great picture.
I actually wrote an anti-V.D. (Valentine's Day, that is) editorial back in my high school newspaper days alleging the exact same thing, Sue. :-) Great minds must think alike... And Pam, I'd feel honored to have a "Steele original" in my collection. :-D
i never did respond to j.m. on that pj harvey/bjork duet. well, in case you check back(i'm far too lazy for emails), i found it on audiogalaxy. for those who care, valentron's day went well. i saw my ex the night before, realized i'm not still in love with him, and am happy(not just resigned) to be single. yay! and kate, you are my valentine. in fact, yours was the only valentine i received, so you rock!
I love "Everything Means Nothing to Me". Nice choice.
