Comment:

In a brief moment of musical lucidity, a tape was born. Mr. Rob Conroy will act as its legal guardian. Two quick comments: 1. The Stranglers tune is in my opinion the KING of parenthetical titles. Anybody else have any good ones? 2. I have included a new find (to me anyway) - LIARS. If anybody wants to hear something truely interesting and origional, I can't recommend it enough. Kind of a Metal Box era P.I.L. for a new century. Word.

My Bloody Valentine has a tune on Ecstacy and Wine called, "(You're) Safe in Your Sleep (From This Girl)". Another boss title with too many parentheses.

Incidentally, you've included my favorite Gram Parsons song, one of my three favorite Dylan songs, one of my favorite TFC songs, a Beatles favorite, a Monk favorite, an Axelrod favorite, a Lou Reed favorite... the list goes on. Truly impressive.

Pure genius. You have the New FADs which I'd completely forgotten about, one of the Who's best underplayed tunes, and Mission of Burma followed by the Diamond one. Wow.

wow, looks great! as far as parentheticals go, i always liked devo's "sloppy (i saw my baby gettin')." the reversed diction adds a little something to the degree of difficulty. or something.
