Although folk-rock trio America looked and sounded West Coast Stateside, there was always a strong connection with the U.K., as they were all sons of Air Force officers stationed in Britain, and began their careers in London as an outfit called Daze. Both sides of the Atlantic would warm to brilliant chart-topping tracks like "A Horse with No Name" (their debut single).
