Much of the music being made today by Cuban artists is fiercely experimental. The late [i]conguero[/i] Anga Díaz revisited Coltrane on his trippy version of "A Love Supreme." Juan Formell combined the silky strings of the [i]charanga[/i] format with complex polyrhythms on [i]Chapeando[/i], the ambitious album by supergroup Los Van Van.
