Comment:
woot woot, this one has a story! the other day outside the supermarket down my street, i heard some random chords and belle and sebastian lyrics coming from around the corner and much to my pleasant surprise there was an oddly cute busker playing Dirty Dream #2. So now I shall stalk him, or to put it more cutely and AOTM-ly, I shall give him a tape. This one.... none of the tracks have any significance except that I tape them too much.Feedback:
*sigh* i fell in love with a violin busker on a corner in new york city...it sounds farfetched, but it's quite true. if i could, i'd go back in time and kiss him to death.
How sweet! I like this tape a lot, and woohoo for the Yo La Tengo "You sexy thing" cover! It is gosh darn fun.
Kissinger was wrong. Music, not power, is the greatest aphrodisiac.
Stalk On!
woooh look at all them suggestive song titles on side 2!! can i be best man?
This is awesome. How bout those suggestive titles on side 1 too? "Wet blanket" (who's title alone makes you think of the "wet spot"!), "Hourly, daily"? "Point that thing somewhere else" (although don't tell him that!)? And, while I can't recall all the lyrics to "Monday's rain" I'm sure there must be something suggestive in it. So yes, this tape is full of suggestive titles, which is a good thing to get your point across. And, yes, music is the greatest aphrodisiac, for sure. I've often fallen in love with a singer because of his songs (just don't tell that to my husband, though!)
All the buskers in my hood look like Tiny Tim. A wonderful mix Alexo. Can't wait to hear the rest of the story.
