made on valentine's day night (if you get what i mean). FINALLY summer arrived on our doorstep and their was little to do but to flake out on a banana lounge on the verandah wearing as little as possible along with the oh so stylish wet facewasher on head, make a mixtape about how pissy, bored and overheated i was and wait for the cool change to come through. unfortunatly, the tape was finished before the cool change came (about midnight), so it ended with "it's not easy" rather than "singin' in the rain". personally, i think this tape is a little warped (much like vinyl in the heat): bach to the strokes? sigur ros to sinatra? eek...a true representation of how warped (there's that word again) thursday was.

warped, definitely, but in a good way. oh, god, don't complain about the heat. i almost got frostbite cleaning off my car tonight. anyhow, i really like the span of genres it covers.

Really sweet, Rosie. And I heard how Vic. is getting their summer - finally; while in Perth, it's summer as usually, although yesterday it was only 25 (c, for those in the n. hemisphere) so it was more like Melbourne weather, but tomorrow it'll be 36 again.
