Comment:
this is the first version of a soundtrack to a story/screenplay i've been writing off and on for the past year (maybe even longer), which details the middle-aged troubles of the members of a band that were rather popular in the late sixties-early seventies called "the sunflowers"/ it's a story of invaded privacy, obscurity, feeling of failure, dealing with success, unrequited love and good, old-fashioned music/ some of the choices are kind of odd (langley schools, jandek, etc.) but i feel like each track at least inspires me to write a little more/ the strung out radiohead track is an homage to the orchestrated version of hey jude in royal tenenbaums (where can i find this version, please?!?!)/ anyhow, i've rambled on enough...look for updated versions in the future/ 1:06:00
Feedback:
Mark Mothersbaugh did the version of Hey Jude, though I'm not sure if it's on the soundtrack. Nice mix. Seems like a lot of these soundtrack-type mixes are popping up these days. Sounds like a sad-ish story.
Really nice. Good luck with the writing, sounds like a story I'd want to read/see.
