Do you ever have it happen that you love something-- just really LOVE something-- and then it's just gone? And you keep chasing after it, desperately, crying, "Wait! I love you!" like that makes a difference? And it gives you this fairly haughty look, and says, "Well, I don't want your love," and you know, but you just can't help yourself?
