Comment:

this CD mix was made for my friend ingrid who is very folk-rooted and earthy (think liberal artsy indigo girls, etc). as i'm from more of that "britpop" vein, i thought this mix would be a nice segue into british trad rock/pop.

Good calls, especially seeing someone with an appreciation for Matthew Jay and the Turin Brakes. But a folk-rooted mix w/no Nick Drake? For shame!

nice mix...don't listen to the guy who couldn't see your obvious plan to stick with newer stuff!

Very nice, esp. the Ed Harcourt and Matthew Jay picks.

...I'm with GH and SueEW here, the Turin Brakes and Badly Drawn Boy should clinch your friend's admiration for your abilities via introduction....good job!

thanks for your comments-- i wasn't sure whether that britpop kick in the end might be too overwhelming though.

didn't I put that Ben and Jason song on a mix I made you in high school, like 5 years ago? But other than that, good work patty!
