simply put, i like making tapes for bands i like. this was the first one i did. it was spring 1998 and one of my favorite bands was in a pretty bad accident. when they got back to touring after everybody healed, i gave them this tape. they'd lost all their road tapes in the crash, so i made sure to include some standard favorites along with my regular pop-ish fare. i wish i'd have kept a copy for myself because it came out extremely well! my only regret is that i never gave them the original liner notes to the tape, which featured little stories about every song. i chickened out. sorry dudes.
