Listener Status 30 - Decadantly Nu Wave
This one is a freaky display of my secret love of nuwave music... i grew up on it. The trick here is that more than half of it is contemporary, but it is pretty hard to tell what is what. This is also a sort of response to mixmaster Teapin's "Futuristic Aint Shit..." cd (which rocks). Patrick Nagel art makes it all come together. Patrick Nagel, nuff respect....

Have you read this book by Ellis? I don't remember many of these songs from the book and am wondering if there's some connection.

Answers: yes, I am mad about making cds, and a fucking nerd too. No, that is not Desire, that is Rio, and she dances on the sand. Yes, I read Less Than Zero, no these songs are not in it, but that book/movie just is very 80's to me, captures the vibe.
