Comment:

A very old mix (3 or 4 years at least) that I was inspired to dig out and post by Jessica Disobedience's recent posting of the same name. They seem to be pretty different mixes overall, but I think there's some basis for comparison. Thinking back over the intervening years, I think I was going for more of a post punk with some veerage into new wave feel, than for a straight new wave feel. Anyway, there ya have it. One from the vaults.

simply awesome. i think some recent post-punk/new wave compilations (soul jazz, that australian one as well) have unleashed some irresistible early 80's yearnings of late. good stuff.
