Comment:
this was the year i finished school and this was the songs we enjoyd back thenFeedback:
1979 was a pivotal year for my musical taste, as well. If I made my own '79 mix, there would be little overlap with yours, but this does look great! (You earn extra points for including James White & the Blacks. Too cool!)
This looks pretty damned great.
Great stuff. 79 was a great year.
Excellent. Some timeless tracks here
Splendid selections. 1979 was clearly a more than decent year for music.
A lot of good old favourites there, mate!
I haven't heard that Adam & The Ants song. But I do like "Physical" aqnd "Whip In My Valise".
I just love The Rezillos and The Buzzcocks.

great great mix. lots of favorites represented.
Love all your mixes, but this one takes the cake. 'Death Disco' won me over.
Oh man. "Helicopter" is my favorite XTC song. Too cool.
Harmony in My Head, ahhhh memories. One of the best songs from a band that specialized in great songs.
Lucky bastard, acually being able to "be there, when". Sadly, I was busy being conceived in 1979, far from New York or London. ; ) Great mix.
interesting picks. and yes, lucky bastard.
Ooh this is a great mix- the seventies rocked! Not being born till 88, however, I don't have personal memories from each year, but I love the music.
this does look fun ... and memorable ... but isn't that song "Boys Don't CRY"? ;-)
