Doh! Should say "NOW that's a key." And it is my favorite key.

nice theme. btw d major is the "key of God" in a lot of baroque (and classical) chorale music-- coincidence or did you intend this?

I hate playing things in D Major (probably because teachers forced me to learn more baroque pieces than the post-romantic types I liked). Patty, it's so true; I've learned everything from my first few snippets of Bach to a concerto, and they were just tedious... Probably my favorite key is C# minor, but that's probably because of Rachmoninoff (Prelude in said key). Moving on (Jeez, I'm self absorbed tonight :P) As for the mix and not my stupid preferences, good theme, nice range of artists... How'd you go about determining? Sometimes I hear pieces that are played on quartertones between keys (my trusty pitchfork... I arrange songs for a cappella sometimes), but were these just straightforward? Oh, and Sean, yeah, I love putting pieces in F# :)

brevity is the soul of wit... so sue me. BTW, do you play an instrument (or more than one)?

how did i miss this first time around? good stuff. i'm awful and working out what key stuff's in. probably an extension of never reading key signatures...

this is a very very cool mix.
