Comment:

i made this about two nights ago, for my friend jake. i was going to just make it a random cd-r of stuff i'd been listening to as of late but after i dubbed the first four tracks i noticed it was developing into an indie rock history lesson of sorts, so i tried to keep it under control. my personal, underrated favorites vitreous humor and walt mink found their way in there, but the rest is mostly the heavy hitters. my favorite part is around the middle, where i was able to develop a segment of sinisterly-themed songs [in the karate, afghan whigs and three mile pilot songs] and then have those songs give way to total insanity [shellac, a minor forest and drive like jehu] with the gvsb song bridging the two segments. i don't know. that makes it sound all pretentious. either way, it sounds good so i dubbed myself a copy. rock.

Very tasty. Bonus points for Superchunk and Husker Du and my favorite BTS song.
