Comment:
it was an interview a couple of years ago in a swedish magazine called POP, where BG listed what he was grooving to right now and everytime he does that it will cost me a lot on new records and i love it, i think maybe someone out there wanna share this little list.Feedback:
Huh. Bobby Gillespie listening to "Satan is Real" is most definitely an entertaining image, good Peter. :-) FYI: the Fela track is "Sorrow, Tears & Blood". Cool mix, too.
Great selection of songs. I knew there was a reason I've been listening to Primal Scream so much lately. My copy of XTRMNTR lacks their version of the Third Bardo song though, which I'm kinda pissed about.
yes, it's a cool mix, Bg knows whats good even crap artists like Billy Idol fits in. I got a couple of more BG mixes i made, coming soon
and it's a new Primal scream album out in june and it will sound "cross between, like, fuckin' heavy metal, Stockhausen and fuckin' Phillip Glass" said Alan Mcgee, Bobby also got a daughter back in Dec, Wolf Gillespie (cool or what)All of the Primal loves the Hives of course
wow, awesome. i especially like the grouping of the first three tracks.
it will sound "cross between, like, fuckin' heavy metal, Stockhausen and fuckin' Phillip Glass...I am sold, let's hope it does. Kontakte and other modern composition has been taking up much of my listening pleasure recently. I look froward to the latest from the Primals.
Yeah, that Fela Kuti song is heavy.
"They leave sorrow, tears and blood (dem regular trademarks)" Classic Fela!

Thanks a lot for this Bobby Gillespie mix. Haven't got all the tunes yet, but I'm looking forward to listening to it. He did a radio show in London for XFM last year and it was awesome.
You both have good taste, esp like the Hank Williams.
