Huh. Bobby Gillespie listening to "Satan is Real" is most definitely an entertaining image, good Peter. :-) FYI: the Fela track is "Sorrow, Tears & Blood". Cool mix, too.

Great selection of songs. I knew there was a reason I've been listening to Primal Scream so much lately. My copy of XTRMNTR lacks their version of the Third Bardo song though, which I'm kinda pissed about.

it will sound "cross between, like, fuckin' heavy metal, Stockhausen and fuckin' Phillip Glass...I am sold, let's hope it does. Kontakte and other modern composition has been taking up much of my listening pleasure recently. I look froward to the latest from the Primals.

Yeah, that Fela Kuti song is heavy.
"They leave sorrow, tears and blood (dem regular trademarks)" Classic Fela!

Thanks a lot for this Bobby Gillespie mix. Haven't got all the tunes yet, but I'm looking forward to listening to it. He did a radio show in London for XFM last year and it was awesome.

You both have good taste, esp like the Hank Williams.
