birthday pressie for my coworker and friend albert, who made me a great tape a few months ago. i did something here that i usually consider to be a cardinal sin -- i included an artist that he claims to not like, namely joni mitchell. however, upon questioning him further about his supposed distaste for my queen of female singer-songwriters, it turns out that he had only heard one song (big yellow taxi). so i thought i'd try one of my favorties (a case of you) on him and work from there. anyway, i like this tape. side a is called "acclimate" and side b is called "blistery". both words i enjoy that start with their respective side letters, and also that remind me of the latest weather here in austin.
