Comment:

I think the two Joni songs ("California"/"Urge for Going") that I put on this mix sum up the story behind it pretty well. I've been thinking a lot about my life, and my career, and where I want to be to make myself happy lately, and I'm finding that I'm less and less content where I am. All of these songs are in one way or another tied to that feeling.

I totally hear that, I am in the same boat. This mix is nice, i can relate. My advice, do something that really challenges yourself.

This is a cool mix. I can totally "get" the mood from "California".

um... i just needed to comment on the use of "god give me strength"-- i totally thought i was the only one that knew that movie. the version used in the film is shedloads better than costello's sndtrk version. and joni is my hero. nothing to say but "word up, sista."
