Comment:
I made this to have something nice and relaxing to listen to on the drive home after a bad day. I tried to stick primarily to drums-n-guitars, as there is plenty of electronic music out there that gets the job done too, but it's not as "natural"...it's like taking valium instead of meditating. Also tried keeping it not TOO depressing, we'll see how that works out. It's not a very long CD....don't want to fall asleep driving.
Feedback:
Nice set...the smartest mix tapes no when to end, so length isn't a problem. Certainly looks like one with replay potential. It's not one that will win you alot of indie cred, but so fucking what. Good mix. Check my latest out for a similar feel.
Added a couple more tunes....after listening to it a couple times, it felt lacking. The Hooverphonic and Morcheeba really add a nice come-down.
This mix is really fantastic for when you just need to feel some *calm.* I especially like the Morcheeba and U2 tracks...thanks! (And the cover art is priceless!)
