I have a lot to write about the mix, many feelings which aren't easily converted into words. I made this thinking of someone and where my thoughts took me. Though the mix seems to offer some hope of redemption and reconciliation in the end, I wanted to capture the content of the last song more explicitly than the mood. Also it's difficult to specify which versions of many of these songs I've used, but I've tried to use live music as much as possible since I think it's more raw and emotional. I am a big Counting Crows fan and especially liked thier explanations of their songs on the Storytellers CD. Duritz's explanation of "Anna Begins" describes many of the things I felt during an emotional time with this girl. If you like this kind of music, you should check out the band Mana, especially their version of a song called "Se me olvido otra vez." Finally, as this is my first submission, I'd appreciate any input.

I'm a huge CC fan and there's a beautiful version of "Round Here" that I used to have a copy of. It was from MTV's "Live at the 10 Spot", I believe. It's really so gorgeous; he inserts this small bit that just grabs your heart.

This mix is beautiful.
