This CD took almost two years to make. It wasn't about a breakup, but then again it was. Saying goodbye to a therapist who meant a great deal to me. Still does. The relationship may have been different from a love relationship, but the emotions are the same. Pain. Blinding pain. Pain made all the more difficult by the ubiquitous "no contact" rule that many therapists follow upon leaving the profession. As the song says, "The story's complete, but man it's a long way from done." I have a feeling there will be a sequel.
