10:15 p.m. Saturday night: My buddy calls me and tells me to bring music to the Labor Day Pool Party. I agree to accomodate him in this matter. In a semi-drunken state, I decide to make the ULTIMATE POOL PARTY MIX CD SET ... Two CDs ... one for the afternoon ... one for the evening. The afternoon disc (this one) is a bit rowdier ... meant more for the guys than the gals and helping everyone "get in the mood" for a party. Did I mention that I was drunk while this idea came to me? The most obvious example of my drunkeness is shoving Loverboy onto the disc by track number three. Is there anybody out there that WANTS to hear Loverboy one more time?? WHAT WAS I ON?!?!
It's not that this is a "bad" disc ... just didn't achieve the vibe I was looking for ... here comes Volume II ....
