Comment:

Companion piece to earlier garage mix. Once again, an ounce of rock is worth a pound of musicianship - Dave Matthews be damned! Still looking for a hatful of period tracks (on cd): 69 (Arondies), Feeling Lost (Rationals), I need you baby (The What-nots), Catanuga Cats theme, I don't recall (Trolls), ... that kinda stuph.... Rock it!

Indeed, and thanks very much for those! They were the first tracks on this mix. Had to use the Blues Magoos tune as well - always loved that song.

Like the Kings Ransom and Knaves tracks weren't readily available on audiogalaxy, like every song on here. You, silly, self-sucking, bitches. Whoa, I'm waiting for RC to refer to me as a female private. I'll go now.

Hmm...what can I offer you in trade for this one, Sean? I'm thinking about making a comp of alternative pop with female vocals - like Darling Buds, The Primitives, Lush, and other stuff like that. Otherwise, I'm out of theme comp ideas for now. Anything in particular you're looking for? I could do '70's AM radio stuff, classic rock, something like that...just let me know!

No problemo, Dave. I'll save you a copy. I'm heading out of town for the next week. I'll be back in touch for a swap.

The only thing missing is "We all Love Peanut Butter" [One Way Streets]. Always seems perfect after "Little Black Egg".

I just finished my fourth garage comp (only one posted at the moment) and looking at yours I just noticed that I left off the Kim Fowly cut!!! There's a ton of killer garage shit out there - it never gets old to these ears.
