Comment:
For Meredith L. Just a collection of stuff that I've been listening to a lot over the past couple of weeks. It's funny, but it seems as though an unconscious theme of "love gone bad" is moving throughout the mix. Thanks to Sean Lally for the Vertebrats and Salvation Army tunes; lo-fi for the Vince Taylor track; and James Russell for the Hawkwind and the And You Will Know Us... tracks. Title (very slightly but intentionally bastardized) from the heart-wrenching Giant Sand tune.Feedback:
quite brilliant, once again.
Nice job, Rob--it's always good to see Grant Hart on a mix.
Fabulously done sir. I really dig this one. 'course you know I love seeing the 'kwind on any mix.
good stuff rob.
Love that White stripes cover. Great Dylan choice too, babe.
Papa M, Pere Ubu, the Fucking Champs and my favorite band of all, Wire...I am a happy happy gal. i don't even think i can begin to equal this! :)
Another kick ass mix Rob, but how about some fluffy white kittens on the cover next time?
This looks damn fine Rob.
Great stuff, Rob.
this looks gorgeous, rob. props (ahem) for the songs:ohia, mountain goats, and trail of dead tracks especially. and i _love_ the title.
Ooh! Ooh! I got him that Giant Sand CD! Wahoo! Rob: another work of art. I'm listening to "Would you be an outlaw for my love?" at the moment.
Mike Bennett? Jeezus... they let anyone on this site. Hey babe, how are ya?
