Comment:

This basically is just a super-high-energy mix. I kinda tried to blend from genre to genre - started w/ rap, moved into pop-punk, threw in a little ska/reggae, into some hard stuff, don't ask me where the Prodigy came in at, into classic rock. Interrupted with grunge, back to c.r., then pretty much hard stuff till the end with the exception of a little stoner rap. I like this tape for a few reasons: they're all songs that I like (duh!), it keeps me driving the speed limit(usually over), it's pretty varied, and I've gotta admit it's the cleanest, best-flowing, most seamless tape I've ever created. I didn't mean to throw in all of the live stuff at the end of side one, I realized it after I was done. Also if you get creative, you can kinda see a theme of (lame) connections from one song to the next: 'Come with Me' to 'Come out and Play', the line 'or am I just stoned?' in 'Basketcase' to the bar scenes in 'Date Rape', 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' to 'Breathe' (get it, smell/breathe/senses)(hey i said lame connections) 'Swallowed'/'Feel Like Makin' Love' (I'll let you put that one together), the song 'Zombie' precedes the band White Zombie, 'Hell's Bells', 'Nice Shot', 'Insane in the Membrane' could be connected if you're gonna shoot yourself in the head. One final note: in case you thought I screwed up, I know that 'Paranoid' is a Sabbath song, this is the Ozzy/Randy Rhoades version of it.
