Imation CD-R [80]Feedback:
you are amazingly prolific with your mixes but why never any stories behind them?
I agree with Geoffrey. You're producing some great mixes, but it's always interesting to hear what inspired them and why you chose some of the artists/songs.
Well, the primary reason I don't include "behind the music" info is that it's never very interesting, in my case. Often, there's no real rhyme or reason to my choices. They're all songs that I like, of course -- but sometimes that's the extent of the logic (especially on the numbered tape and CD mixes). I have to admit, though, I do enjoy reading other peoples' stories with their mixes. Perhaps I'll try to do better in the future -- if there's a story to tell. In the meantime, I'm just very happy (in an anal-retentive sort of way) to have a place to "file" my mixes away for easy reference. Makes me feel almost organized. Anyway, thanks for your suggestion(s). I shall do my best.
