a few months ago, i told a girl [we'll call her "elizabeth"] whom i'd been crushing on for nearly two years how i felt about her. she was taken aback, told me she wanted to "think about it." i wasn't aware "thinking about it" translated to not talking to me for several weeks, but i guess that's just the way the cookie crumbles. then we had a talk several weeks later. she apologized for her behavior, but said she wanted to "think about it some more." so i gave her several MORE weeks to think, and in these weeks, some wonderful things happened, and i became involved with a different girl, who is undoubtedly the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me, and the whole thing is just so right [refer to the first mix i submitted to this site]. when elizabeth found out about this, she was quite upset and i didn't really know why, because i genuinely thought she wasn't interested, which is why i decided not to wallow in self pity, move on and seize the new, beautiful opportunity that was given to me. but angry she is. in some respects, i feel terrible about the way things ended up with her and i, but i'm so happy that i can't let it get me down. anyways though... the first side of this tape is sort of my apology to her for the miscommunication and reflecting upon it after the fact, and the second symbolizes the rollercoaster of emotions that elizabeth made me feel over those two years.
